Join Master Gardener, Lisa Turocy, as she shares her knowledge of gardening – specifically spring vegetable garden planning. The discussion will cover how to decide where to grow your garden, how to lay out you garden, a list of spring/summer vegetables, calculating how many plants you will need, insect concerns, and taking care of your garden during the season. Master Gardener Lisa Turocy has been volunteering throughout Dorchester County as a certified Clemson Extension Master Gardener. She is more than overjoyed to be able to share her Master Gardener knowledge with both the youth and adults in our community. Since 2009, Lisa has had the pleasure of working with Katie’ Krops, volunteering in the Katie’s Krops gardens, assisting the Katie’s Krops Growers both locally and nationally, and being one of the original Katie’s Krops board members. She currently resides in the Summerville area with her husband and son.
