Meet with local volunteer attorneys to discuss important legal topics, sponsored by the SC Bar. Each session will include an overview of the topic and Q&A with the attorney. Registration is not required, but space is limited.

February 11: Estate Planning
– Evan will speak about why it is so important to start getting your affairs in order, what documents are involved in making a plan, the differences between a will and a living trust, probate court, and what common mistakes to avoid.
– Attorney Evan Guthrie is a lawyer and owner of Evan Guthrie Law Firm practicing estate planning and probate law. Evan graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Political Science and attended the University of South Carolina School of Law. – Registration is not required, but space is limited.
February 18: Elder Law, & End of Life Decisions
– Attorney Evan Guthrie will present on Elder Law issues including financial & estate planning, health care, long-term care planning, guardianship and conservatorship, Medicaid, and much more. Evan will also speak about End Of Life Decisions and the legal issues that surround them.
