Green Thumbs – Summerville

Green Thumbs is a program seeking to teach children and caregivers about nature, gardening, pollination, and recycling and is part of the Tri-County Master Gardeners activities of Clemson University Extension. Each month focuses on a different topic and children will make something to take home. Each session is limited to 20 participants.
Grades K through 5th
September 27 – Oh Shucks! Summer’s Over!: Make a doll or scarecrow from corn husks. Registration opens 9/6.
October 25 – It’s a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!: Paint a face on a pumpkin. Registration opens 10/4.
November 29 – Into the Woods!: Make an ornament out of things found in nature. Registration opens 11/8.
