Green Thumbs is a program seeking to teach children and caregivers about nature, gardening, pollination, and recycling and is part of the Tri-County Master Gardeners activities of Clemson University Extension. Each month focuses on a different topic & children will make something to take home.
Each is limited to 20 participants. Grades K – 5th
9/25 – Oh Shucks! Summer’s Over!: Make a doll or scarecrow from corn husks. Registration opens 9/11 here.
10/23 – It’s a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!: Paint a face on a pumpkin. Registration opens 10/9 here.
11/20 – Into the Woods!: Make an ornament out of things found in nature. Registration opens 11/6 here.
